Morrisons "Bonsai Rescue" – Rutland Bonsai TherapyNursery " Greenhouse Why should your yard have fun? Our green house is stored throughout the year with many varieties of plants. Here are just a few ideas to add some interior color and texture. Air Plants Air plants are a fun and fast way to add a bit of cheap interest to a room. The care is minimal with bright light and malt a couple of times a week. Check Pinterest for a series of creative ideas on how people are using air plants as a key component of their interior design. BonsaiFor people who are more in active gardening, bonsais can be a real obsession. We carry tropical plants that can be cultivated in filtered light, as well as more temperate plants that need direct sun, as well as a fresh period. All bonsais have different horticultural requirements and the novice should wait a bit of time dominating some basic techniques. Succulent " Cactus " We carry all kinds of succulent and cactus. They are known for their minimum water requirements; you can disappear for a week and not worry. The overall care of cactus is a minimum of 1/2 day direct sunlight. The irrigation should be done only when the soil has dried and then the water completely until the water is exhausted at the bottom of the pot. For the adventurous, the open top glass terrarium shows that cactus and succulents can be used together but be careful not on the water. We have some new aglaonema varieties (Anymanee and Sparkling Sarah). These are easy to take care of with bright light to some direct sun for colored foliage types. The greener on the blade then the less light you need. These plants prefer it hot (over 65°) and wet, so try not to let the soil dry completely. The occasional malting will also benefit the plant. Fairy Gardens What does a fairy garden do? Any capricious design with smaller growth plants. And we also have the accessories! Perfect for small spaces and desks as well. BegoniasComing in all sizes with a variety of types of foliage, most begonias prefer warmer temperatures and brighter light. The flowering types need some direct sunlight to bloom in the winter. Our favorite as a home floor are the rex begonias, marked by their spectacular colorful foliage. Pothos & IvyShade tolerant plants that will do well almost anywhere in the house. Just remember to water them when they're dry. Peperomias The small plant perfect for any location. They need bright light and will even thrive under fluorescent lighting. It's better to dry and then wet completely. They'll also do good up to 60°. FernsA popular and diverse group of plants with different moisture requirements. All the ferns appreciate the bright light and will generally prosper for years. Our favorite is the Boston Fern that is best used as a hanging plant. It is often used as an external hanging plant for under a porch where it does not receive direct sunlight. It should stay wet and spill some leaves during the winter with humidity changes. Ivy Topiaries These sculptures make a dramatic statement wherever they are placed. In the warmer months you can stay out while you are in the shade. In winter they will do well with a direct sunlight. Occasional malting is also beneficial for these plants. They are tolerant at temperatures much colder than most of the plants in the house (40°) but pay attention to colder temperatures as they will not need so much water. General care " Water when drying and always watering a pot thoroughly so that the whole mass of the soil is moistened. Small amounts of water added to the top of the pot will eventually kill the plant as the roots at the bottom of the pot will suffer. On the contrary, on irrigation and keeping soil saturated with water is the main cause of plant failure. To fertilize we recommend only once a month and use sparsely. Those of you who use some of the Facebook bonsai groups will have seen the numerous publications on these small trees, and there is a particularly fun one at Bonsai UK right now. I think the trees are of great value and I bought 3 Chinese Elms. They were in need of a bit of tlc as you can imagine, due to the trash soil and pots that are in, and I'm sure many will be bought by experienced growers and will be dead at no time. But for those willing to do some research or who already know a little about tree care, I think they're a good buy. Here are my three bought... We don't have a Morrisons near us, so it was a case of getting a map (I'm trendy, I prefer a good map of the operating system for sat nav). Since it was a horrible day, it was a good excuse to go. I was so disappointed, not only if they didn't reduce, they were also totally inspiring, so I left my hands empty. We had passed a garden center en route, so they called us for coffee. It looks like it had been a beautiful Wyevale Garden Center until a few weeks ago, now it's a super-cheap In -Excess one. They're selling all the Wyevale stock at low rock prices. I have six small trees, about 4 to 6 inches high in two liter pots for 16 pounds. He also wanted some first-class bedding plants and had six packages for £2.50, instead of £9 that Wyevale was selling them.
